Asparagus Pea

Sow direct in ground during May or June,cropping August - September. This subject is not a true pea - it is a member of the Vetch family. The pods are small and winged with a delightfully unique flavour. Pick when pods are about 2-5cm (1-2") long. Steam lightly to retain best flavour.
