Cucumber Greenhouse

Sow seed in February or early March for heated greenhouses and late April for unheated greenhouses. A temperature of 21 - 27°C (70 or 80°F) will be required for germination and good seedling development. Plant in 25cm (10") pots or two per growbag during late March to early April (heated) or end of May for unheated greenhouses. A difficult crop with many fungal and bacterial infections possible. Great care is needed as unfortunately many are incurable. But when everything goes well there is a mouthwatering prospect of about twenty 45cm (18") long cucumbers from each plant.
