Kale (Borecole)
Sow 1cm (1/2") deep in seedling rows 15cm (6") apart. Transplant at least 45cm (11/2ft) apart. Seed sowing should be during May, planting out in July. More tolerant than other brassicas to adverse soil conditions but firm planting is essential. An array of insecticides (organic or otherwise) will deal with any problems, although borecole is fairly trouble free.
