A uniform and highly productive dwarf type.  Starbor produces tightly curled, dark green leaves on compact plants of 30-45cm (12-18”).  The leaves have a great flavour, are not bitter and do not tend to yellow easily.  Can also be used as a baby leaf.  Harvest from late autumn onwards, may be overwintered if plants are allowed to mature.
