Most are sown in April, May or June for transplanting in late summer - early autumn. They will bloom in May - June the following year.

Popularly used in bedding arrangements or for borders. They come in many colours and the flowers are lightly perfumed. Sweet Williams will thrive if in a sunny spot in your garden. Sow at 20ºC (68ºF) cover with thin layer of vermiculite or compost.
